The Oregon Leaders Program provides a special opportunity for experienced mentoring professionals from programs operating in the state of Oregon to attend the institute and to make meaningful and productive connections with the research fellows. All applicants from Oregon programs are automatically considered for the Oregon Leaders program.

 Features of the program:

1. Up to five applicants from the state of Oregon who are admitted to attend the Summer Institute will be designated Oregon Leaders and offered full tuition fellowships (minus $100  deposit).

2.   Each Oregon Leader will be paired with a particular research fellow and will work with the fellow to develop an hour-long presentation for sharing research with fellow practitioners.

 3. The Oregon Leader and research fellow will jointly give their presentation at the Summer Institute Community Symposium for fellow practitioners.

 4. The Oregon Leaders will give their presentations at two other conferences/symposia in different parts of the state during the course of the year.

 The Oregon Leaders Program  is sponsored by a grant from the Oregon Community Foundation.
